Title: SVP Product Innovation
Description:

o Drive the product strategy, product definition, and execution of the product roadmap.
o Analyze markets, identify and segment key customer groups, competitive research, analyze industry and technology trends, and incorporate these into product plans that optimize the tradeoffs between market opportunities, product content, and product timing
o Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful definition, development and delivery of new products and enhancements.
o Ensure that product development activities follow the product development model that includes idea generation, business case/concept development, product development, project management and product launch.
o Work collaboratively with CEO and other members of executive team to develop and maintain the vision and product direction.
o Collect and analyze market research, customer research, and competitive analysis.
o Leverage customer insights to identify business opportunities and product strategies.
o Gather and analyze business and product requirements that come from clients, operations, and marketing.
o Support pricing, business models, and product naming and organization.
o Promote business cases for the appropriate level of product investment based on market demand, sales forecasts, and future goals.
o Work with marketing and operations teams to develop the go-to-market strategy, helping all to understand product positioning, key benefits, and target customer needs.
o Constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks in order to recommend tactical approach.
o Take input from management, product strategy, marketing and finance and construct, maintain and present for approval product business plans (encompass product, promotion, pricing and sales channel components).
o Monitor product usage to observe trends to make data driven decisions for enhancements, new features and products.
o Prepare and present recommendations to management on market opportunities, product performance and investment requirements to facilitate business planning and decision making.

Qualifications: o 7-10 years experience in consumer lending, banking or related industry, with management experience in Product Marketing or Product Management
o Proven success in conceiving, testing and rolling out new products
o Good understanding of consumer lending operations and compliance
o Strong project management skills, with ability to build consensus across functional areas
o Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at the executive level
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture, and to manage multiple projects
o Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree highly desirable
