Bruce has 20 years of providing strategic leadership in financial services industry, including developing go to market strategy, fund raising and operational execution. Bruce joined Genesis as CFO in 2005 and assumed CEO responsibilities in 2008. Prior to joining Genesis, Bruce led business operations and financial management as CFO at Credigy Solutions and Wilshire Financial Services Group, where he also served as a Director. Bruce currently serves on the Board of LeanPath, the leader in food waste prevention and Mirador, a provider of small business lending technology to financial institutions. He earned his BA from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA.
Gregg brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as Genesis CFO, including financial analysis, banking,
and risk management for organizations
like Wilshire Financial Services Group and
Wells Fargo Bank. A Genesis executive
since 2009, Gregg holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Oregon.
Mark is the President of Genesis Credit and is responsible for the private-label businesses strategic development and incremental growth. He has over 20 years of experience in the consumer leasing industry, including positions as Executive Vice President at AcceptanceNow, and Divisional Vice President at Rent-A-Center and AcceptanceNow. Mark earned a Criminal Justice degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
One of our original founders in 2001, Vernon leads analytics and data science company-wide at Genesis. He has more than 21 years of executive leadership experience in consumer credit, including holding many positions at Renaissance Holdings in Portland, Oregon. Vernon has a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Chad focuses on the financing needs for
the company’s growing business. Chad’s
20-plus years of experience in structured finance includes serving as Director of
Asset Backed Finance for Wells Fargo Securities, where he focused on structuring loans and term securitizations for banks
and specialty finance companies. Chad earned a degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Ellen is Senior Vice President of Risk, where she leads our data science strategy, and the originations strategy for our retail card portfolio. Her decade and a half of executive leadership experience in the consumer credit industry includes multiple positions at Capital One. Ellen graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Business Administration from USC and earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
As Chief Operating Officer, Evan is responsible for the Technology and Servicing Operations, in addition to overseeing the General Purpose Credit Card business. Evan has more than 20 years of experience in the consumer credit industry, including holding multiple positions at Capital One. Evan earned a B.Sc. in Physics from McGill University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Gregory Chi is the Chief Information Officer. Greg brings more than 25 years of technology experience within the financial services arena, most recently as CIO for Mortgage Guarantee Insurance Company (MGIC) in Milwaukee, WI and in prior roles at SunTrust Bank, Mastercard International, and other organizations where he has led large technology teams. His experience and skills with technology roadmap development, business process engineering, information security, and especially with talent development are all extremely well-suited for the continued growth ahead at Genesis.
Kristen has led the Human Resources function at Genesis since 2017. Kristen is experienced in culture and organizational transformations critical to high growth companies. Prior to Genesis, Kristen led the HR organizations in commerce, technology and professional service organizations. Kristen graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and German from Dickinson College and is an EMHRM candidate from the ILR School at Cornell University.
